Yes a change.  Recently I became a parent...I had been a Dad for quite some time, 8 years.  But recently I truly became a parent.  I had a disagreement with my mom about how she was treating my son.  I stood my ground and now things are different, its all on me now.  I still have some help from others but bottom line is that I stood my ground and as that old Johnny Cash tune says "I walk the line".  Its interesting how the parts within me push and pull and tug to know what's familiar, to feel what's more comfortable and to understand what is necessary for the children.  Things will never be the same again.  Mom and Alec will not play the role they once did in the children's lives, they will just be grandparents and it is good.  No one pushing and needling and guilting me into actions I didn't completely agree with or see as necessary.  By my way shall be the experience my children enjoy in this life.  I'm looking forward to it.  I have worked damn hard to get myself to where I am internally and externally in this lifetime.  I'm just a dimensional tourist but dammit I'm mastering this experience and I'll do my best to share the light with them one 'ah-ha' and precious moment of light at a time...life is good.....all the time...
